Rosa's Thai Reading

Rosa’s restored our faith in Thai food in the UK. We’ve now been to four and the food is getting better since I first went in Ealing. Reading’s was great. They have a great lunch special with three items and a drink for £15. The crispy aubergine was at the same time perfectly crispy, creamy in the middle, but the dipping sauce!! I could have used twice as much. Lovely green curry, suitably chili-hot and fave morning glory. Great contrasts of textures and flavours! The papaya salad was OK but not enough fish sauce and a little sweet for us. The Tom Yum Noodle soup was HUGE but beautifully and aromatically fragrant. The soda looks sweeter than it actually is. Nice service, buzzing restaurant and our taste buds zinging. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. Well done.

Looking for a new staple in that area of Reading as moving in soon. The food was really good. Busy but not over noisy, clean and bright. The jewel in the crown was my server Jessie. I don’t know Thai food, she really was helpful, took her time and couldn’t do enough explaining. She had plenty of tables to look after and did while also taking time to explain to each table her thoughts on choices. She is a real asset to this busy and very good Thai restaurant and this now rare, positive, engaging attitude which seems to be dying out changes the experience from good to amazing . I will definitely be back very soon.

Very late review from July We planned to grab a quick snack, but ended up having a proper meal since we had our toddler with us. We enjoyed most of the dishes and would recommend the place. There were only two servers running the whole restaurant, but it wasn’t too busy, and they looked after us very well. We even had a nice chat with one of them. The taste is made so everyone can enjoy, but I still loved it. Love Plameuk Tod , had two portions Larb Gai made me mouth watering. Recommend above whom loves Asian

We had a lovely experience at Rosa’s Thai, especially as they made a birthday visit feel so special with a beautiful surprise. A special thank you to Alex who served us — he was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. The food was well presented and enjoyable overall, though some dishes felt a bit sour for my personal taste. Apart from that, everything was great, and the atmosphere and service truly stood out. Thank you for making the celebration memorable.

Rosa's Thai in Reading is a fantastic spot for authentic Thai food with great service from Alex, who was very attentive and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend the Green Thai Curry or the sharing Tom Yam, though it's a little bit on salty but we've enjoyed it nonetheless, everything is fresh and full of vibrant flavor.W we were celebrating a friend's birthday so we brought our own cake, and they were fine with it, a great evening overall .

Went for a late lunch, our service was lovely and the food was fresh and tasty. Our server Fern was super helpful with recommendations for an unknown cuisine. The food came out really fast but you could also tell it was fresh. For starters the calamari would be my rec, the plum sauce is so good it's sweet and spicy and the noodles are just the right kind of savoury. Great meal for the price

Had a really lovely time at this Thai restaurant. The food remained me of what I’ve had in Thailand, which honestly made me so happy. Milosz was serving us and he was super friendly and attentive plus his cocktails were genuinely so good. Alex was also great with customer service and made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone there was really smiley and welcoming, and it created such a nice atmosphere. I’d definitely come back again.
